@Conservatives Bragging about giving teachers a below-inflation pay rise is quite an unusual strategy. It will do absolutely nothing to address the recruitment and retention crisis that education is facing.

@Conservatives I'm a teacher of 20 yrs and its never been so underfunded. Next academic year, we have 2 TAs, morning only, across 3 classes. What a world level beating system. I used to have a full time TA just in my class under a Labour govt. Interventions happened. Kids were supported.

@Conservatives More money does not equate to a ‘world class education’ - we spend more and get a poor service. Our state education is dysfunctional and hugely let’s down most kids in the system.
