As a retired Florida police officer, the officer got this wrong. The proper response is to address the primary aggressor, not remove the person being harassed. People do not lose their right to be in a public place simply because someone else is offended by their views.

Females cops needs to understand that feelings don’t matter more than our rights. This is not the UK and/or Europe.
