I’ve watched the full video, this guy did nothing wrong but just walk around and film. Not breaking any laws in a public building. Sadly most of our law enforcement know nothing about the 1st and 4th amendment rights. This 30sec clip shows nothing.

If the proprietor of a business or the person in charge of public facility asks you to leave, and you refuse, then you are trespassing. Also, in some states, by law, you must provide your name during a police interaction. This has been upheld by SCOTUS.

Citizens continue to think they're smarter than street cops. What they don't understand is that street cops have heard their BS time after time and he doesn't give a shit what you say. God loves street cops.

This idiot cops just walked himself into an easy lawsuit. But he doesn't care, because the taxpayer will pay for his ignorance of the law in a settlement. The guy recording did everything right to have standing for an easy lawsuit, no need to go to jail, it's all under duress.

It's weird to see a cop be straight. Usually they just try to pick fights and find excuses to mess with people. This cop is just telling the person exactly why he's there, what needs to happen and why, and weirdest of all, he's being respectful, calling him "sir" and such.

This cop was VERY very cool about it. Just like "Okay leave. Good thank you. Okay I need your ID. Okay I need your name. Yeah if you're refusing then you're going to come with us. Okay now you want to comply? Cool thank you."

He doesn’t have to identify because he hasn’t broken the law. He received a notice of trespass but you aren’t actually trespassing unless you refuse to leave or come back, in which case he THEN would be breaking the law.

The cop is an awesome Tyrant and of course "wrong". Refusing to identify is not grounds for arrest if you are not committing a crime. He's leaving, no crime here. More taxpayer's money wasted. First on the cops salary, then on the lawsuit payout.

Absent criminal suspicion people do not need to identify. THE DUDE WAS TRESPASSING! That alone makes refusal to identify justification for arrest. What was he thinking?

It's so weird how so many people are anti-constitution. I d9nt care what political party he is part of, you can not detain, force ID, force to leave, or arrest someone for filming on public property.

No, he's not. He just cost his city probably 100's of thousands of dollars. 😂 Violated his 4th amendment rights. Cops are not entitled to your ID. He was asked to leave and complied. He's not going to be smiling during litigation. 🤡🤡

The man was guilty of trespassing the moment he did not leave when he was asked to leave. He can argue his rights in court, but he was asked to leave and refused. The police could have arrested him right then and there. This man filming is a fool.
