While taking a routine vandalism report at an elementary school, an officer was interrupted by a little boy about six years old. Looking up and down at his uniform, he asked, "Are you a cop?" "Yes," he replied and continued writing the report. "My mother said if I ever needed help I should ask the police. Is that right?" "Yes, that's right," he told him. "Well, then," he said as he extended his foot towards the officer, "would you please tie my shoe?" Much respect and love for this Officer.

📢📢📢Context/Details 📢📢📢 20 August 2023, Atlanta The driver of the Ford150 pickup truck, Kevin Alves Da Saliva (20), was circling a busy intersection midtown area 17th Street and Northside Drive on Sunday night moments before a Georgia state trooper began to pursue him - prompting a frenetic scene. When the Georgia State trooper begins to pursue him the out-of-control driver is seen plowing into innocent bystanders in the street. The driver was eventually caught and cuffed by the fast-acting officer. Once the officer apprehended the suspect, the driver did not appear to resist. 'For the last couple of years, it’s been a really popular thing for whatever reason,' Captain Michael Burns with the Georgia State Patrol told WSBTV regarding street racing. Burns said one of the pedestrians struck 'suffered an injury.' Da Saliva has been charged with fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, hit and run, and serious injury by a motor vehicle. State troopers were reportedly tipped about the incident by Atlanta Police which is why the heroic officer was ready when the truck passed by. Governor Brian Kemp said: 'The incredible takedown is just the latest example of how our hardworking troopers are taking the fight to criminals.' 🔈🔈Hope this was helpful🔈🔈

I haven’t always seen eye to eye with the police. I will however say they don’t get paid enough for what they have to deal with on a daily basis. Period. They put their lives on the line so we can feel just a little bit of relief from the crazy stuff that is happening around us.

The most professional cop I have seen. Suspect ran over people with truck! Officer disabled truck and removed suspect (asshole) at gun point and holsters his weapon. To pull asshole out of truck! Asshole is lucky! He had a professional cop! Lucky!
