Actually, Legendary/Toho owns the full rights to any Goji characters so sadly……he wasn’t gonna be in it either way.

Fearsome Shin Godzilla

It always feels weird when people use Shin Godzilla for this kind of stuff. I get that there was a period of time not too long ago when Shin was the most recent Japanese interpretation of Godzilla but… he’s as far away from a real “character” as you can get. When I watch Shin Godzilla, I don’t see a violent monster. I see a poor fish or something that’s been mutated over and over until he’s barely even an organism anymore and he’s practically a walking radioactive tumor.
