His name is Argos, and he belongs to Ulysses, the Greek hero also known as Odysseus. Before Ulysses sailed away to fight in the Trojan War, he had raised Argos from a puppy, a fast and beautiful hunting dog. Then the war called, and Ulysses left. He would not come home for twenty years. When Ulysses finally set foot on his own island again, he came in disguise, dressed as a beggar, so that no one would know him. His house was full of men trying to steal his wife and his kingdom. To survive, he had to remain a stranger in his own home. No one recognized him. Not his loyal servants. Not the people who had known him all his life. But lying in the dirt by the gate, old and forgotten, covered in ticks, too weak to stand, was a dog. Argos had waited twenty years. This man man had bought his son an iPad for Christmas. One day while visiting his son tells him that his brother keeps taking his iPad and doesn’t let him use it. The man was upset and he knows even though the other child isn’t his, he feels like he needs to speak up and set an example. He works hard to support his child and he provides for him very well. He doesn’t feel bad that the other kid’s in the house’s father’s don’t do anything for their kids, it’s not his concern. Is he wrong for talking to the other child like this, is he just looking out for his own kid, or is he being selfish and should have a little compassion because it’s not the other child’s fault their father isn’t providing for them as he should?

Here is a feel good story for your Saturday.. Young kid needs money for something that he wants to buy so he goes around in his neighborhood asking people if he could do yardwork for them. He finds someone who says sure, some raking and mow the lawn. As he’s working a nosy neighbor calls the police probably a Karen.. a cop shows up and asks him what he’s doing, and he explains to the officer that he’s working to save up for something that he wants to buy.The cop presses it asking “what are you trying to buy”? The young kid tells him a PS5 . So the cop says OK have at it .. Two days later the cop shows up at his house, and he says come to the car with me. He opens the back trunk and there is a PS 5 that he had bought with his own money to give to the kid.. he respected this kid’s work ethic and wanted to reward him.

This is such an amazing story. An older man Tom had to leave his apartment because the landlord refused to allow him to keep his dog because it was a pitbull. Rather than get rid of the dog, he left the apartment and decided to stay in a tent.. After a while he realized he couldn’t really care for the dog, because he had health issues, so he took his best friend to the fire station with a note explaining his situation and asking if they could take care of his baby, they did of course, but something else happened. They decided to find him and they did. They realize that he was a veteran and so they set him up in a donated RV and while they’re attending to his health needs, they’re keeping the dog Jake for when he gets well enough they’re going to reunite them both . ❤️❤️❤️❤️ We hear all about the bad things going on. It’s just as important to hear about all the good things that people are doing.

In order to cope with the loss he had a pool built in his backyard and gave all his neighbors and their children an open invitation to enjoy the pool whenever they wanted to . He did this to combat the loneliness he was feeling. He said the sound of children made him happy .. isn’t it interesting how people come up with ways to cope with their grief and it may not be anything that you would ever do but for him, it made him happy and it made him happy to make other people happy

This father took his two boys bike riding. The trail they were on said kid friendly. But as you can see, chaos erupted. As the dad was tending to his one son who had already crashed, his other son was coming down the trail. He screamed several times for him to hit his brakes but his son flew by him and kept going and wiped out. When the dad got to him, he appeared to be okay. Just to be safe, he took his boys to go get checked out. Luckily no broken bones, internal bleeding or permanent damage outside of a few cuts bruises and scrapes. The dad said he wishes he would have just reached back and grabbed him as he came down but he was busy tending to his other son. It could have been much worse. Many people are blaming the dad saying he was irresponsible and that he should have checked the trail out before they rode down it. Do you think the father is to blame?
