The whole economy is essentially running on one giant credit card. Governments are locked into a debt cycle they cant get out of... nothing ever gets paid back. When the debt comes due they roll it into new debt, and the interest gets paid with more borrowing. One credit card paying off the other. The only real way out is growth. But you cant grow when your population is shrinking. Fewer working people means less growth, so GDP never rises fast enough to catch up with the debt. So how does the bill get paid? Liquidity. Nobody in the system is allowed to default, so the debt is funded by debasing the currency. This is my Everything Code framework. The debt can't stop, so the debasement can't stop either, and every asset price is downstream of that.

Ray Dalio: “Debt problem is followed by devaluation of the currency.” Looks like this is exactly how the US will handle its debt problem. Kevin Warsh’s Fed will peg short-term rates to artificially low levels, and buy treasuries to keep them down, inflating the debt away. We saw this play out in the three decades following World War II, and it’s plausible that the US is preparing for a similar maneuver as Debt/GDP is currently over 120%. This is why central banks are dumping US debt and buying gold instead.

The IMF can be sued. IMF is suable. IMF cannot use corrupt crooks in government to trap Kenyans in debt. Any debt that was borrowed out of the budget, without parliamentary approval and without passing through the Consolidated Fund, Must not be paid by Kenyans. When I say that the monetary order is breaking down, I mean that fiat currencies and debt as a storehold of wealth are not being held by central banks in the same way they were in the recent past. That reality is largely being driven by the same forces that drive The Big Cycle. Today, we know that both the holders of US dollar denominated debt (other countries) and those who need it (the US) are worried about each other for geopolitical reasons. That becomes a big problem when you’re producing a lot of debt — which the US continues to do.

Rick Rule lays out the current state of the Precious metals market perfectly. "I'm old enough to remember the decade of the 1970s where the gold price ran 27 fold. 4 times in that decade there were pullbacks of 25% or more and in 1975 the market pullback by 50% without derailing the bull market... It's more important to focus on the reasons why the bull market exists." Has the US debt disappeared? Will the debt ever be paid off? Will the FED ever stop printing money? Until the answer to the above questions is yes, then the Gold and Silver bull markets are intact.
