@Kakoyeet1 Seeing lots of love for those shields in the comments. Very interesting because I remember everyone thinking they were way too overwhelming at the time. Maybe we would’ve adjusted to it.

They probably could have added a slider to modify their intensity, like they do with Speed Lines and Screen Shake

I remember despite the half baked visuals, the game just looked SO genuinely FUN to play. Turns out it was. I also play through the same way because I wanted to so badly every time I watched the demo in 2020. I’d love a release of the old build like they did for Halo 2’s E3 demo

Infinite genuinely looks amazing now. Texture quality is unmatched, animations are best in class, and lighting isn’t that bad. overall it’s amazing.

It’s wild that they were planning on shipping that… I remember looking at the reveal and thinking “it looks like Minecraft” it was such a wild experience. Glad we got the delay because Infinite’s campaign is stunning.

Halo infinite gunplay is so nice. Every other game just does MW19 animations now

Its one aspect I really liked about Halo 4 and 5 but and you can see a bit of that design philosophy in the trailer gameplay here but it had some Metroid prime esq screen effects and you could even see parts of your helmet from the visor it was cool a shit

The Brute design is still terrible though. Naked space gorrilas.

Graphics improved but it was still underwhelming.

It’s crazy to me that they even thought that e3 demo was good enough to be shown off. Goes to show how chaotic everything must’ve been behind the scenes

call me crazy, But i kinda prefer the old version for some reason. The current version has obvious improvements but the old cartoonier style has its charm

The story dlc opportunity with this game couldve been insane. The fact that they shut it all down to focus on multiplayer live service bs is so upsetting
