One of my favorite Lettermen dog tricks was the guy that laid flat on the ground. He poured milk into his mouth without swallowing and his dog came and lapped the milk right out of his mouth.

Letterman posted a show from ‘83 the other day when he hosted from his house while he waited for his cable appointment to get a couple of tvs hooked up. His own two dogs did a stupid pet trick, eating chips that sound just like Dave eating them. Very impressive.
