Perhaps if people didn't do 99.9% of their journey in the middle lane when left lane is empty (see start of clip) then maybe people could move over.

I saw someone tailgating a Learner like that yesterday in the rain. I can't believe people can be so stupid and inconsiderate that they would bully a Learner. I was so tempted to follow the guy home and tell him what I thought.

How ridiculous, there are cars and vans in the middle lane, and the car in front of the van is keeping a safe distance from the car in front of them. Why does the van driver think he can get anywhere quicker! Even if the car in front pulls over, he’ll have another and another…!

Why do people do this? It’s like they don’t have a brain.

When I have someone following me that close at that speed I slow, sometimes below the speed limit. Sometimes they'll get the message and back off, sometimes they pass me. But, there's no way I'm keeping up that speed with someone that close

Not only that, but I think you'll find that if pulling a trailer, caravan or even a 60 ton artic trailer, you are restricted to lane 1 and 2 for overtaking. Sitting in lane 3 driving like a nutter, where's a cop when you need one? 🤔

Once on the way to the airport at like 4am and we were stuck in a single-lane tunnel, heavy traffic and a low speed limit. A lorry was inches from our bumper, another right in front. If the one ahead had braked, the one behind would’ve gone straight through us.
