Wade—'I was able to kill Roe v. Wade' when nobody thought I could'—and praises Hannibal Lecter, the fictional serial killer, as 'a wonderful man' and refers to him as 'a friend of mine.' Why is the media ignoring this? It's like an elephant eating the zookeeper while the media praises a squirrel climbing a tree. Here's what you need to know: First, don't think that the rich are going to give you anything. They won't even throw you a bone. He who controls the media controls the minds of the people. It's revealing that Elon Musk paid $54 million for Twitter, Jeff Bezos purchased the then-failing Washington Post, and Laurene Powell Jobs, Steve Jobs' widow, owns a significant stake in The Atlantic, while Rupert Murdoch controls News Corp, which includes Fox News, Wall Street Journal, and more. Why do the wealthy control or have a significant stake in the news media, like ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, etc.? For influence, power, and control. This situation reminds me of a scene in "The Book of Eli," where the Bible is not just a spiritual guide but a means to brainwash the people. The film’s line, "It’s not just a book, it’s a weapon. A weapon aimed right at the hearts and minds of the weak and the desperate. It will give us control of them. If we want to rule more than one small, fucking town, we have to have it…" Just as the Bible was a weapon in the movie, so are information and misinformation—weapons wielded by those in power to control the minds of the masses. Wake up, America, you’ve been sleeping too long. Don’t you think for one moment that the rich is going to give up their privileges. They want to control your very existence. This is not just about ratings; it's about wielding power over public opinion, controlling political narratives, and molding the perceptions of millions through selective reporting, misinformation, and fake polls. The rich are not motivated to pay higher taxes or to relinquish any control to the working class and people of color. The framers of the Constitution, many of whom were slave owners like Benjamin Franklin and George Washington, along with others such as John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Samuel Adams, and Patrick Henry, feared being controlled by the majority. Consequently, they intentionally wrote the Constitution in ambiguous language—what you might call a secret code—to make it seem as though it was something it wasn’t. It wasn’t really about the land of the free; it was about disguising that it was essentially a monarchy. Now, the truth comes to light. With the Supreme Court serving as the hand of the king for any Republican president, the founders anticipated that one day it would unravel, and the minority, the wealthy would once again take control—the modern-day equivalent of slave owners. When asked what kind of government we have, Benjamin Franklin famously replied, "A republic, if you can keep it." So here we are, 237 years later, in the thick of it with the Constitution falling apart just as the founders knew it would—and fighting for our freedom. I’m ridin' with Joe Biden.
