This ending hurts more every time I watch it.

No fairytale ending. A kids show where a young person has to live with their guilt and the consequences of what they’ve done when their actions had an massive effect on someone else. They don’t make them like this anymore.

Damn, did that letter basically say, "I'm happy back home, hope you're enjoying your life with your neglectful ass parents with the daddy who's constantly yelling about something stupid and the alcoholic mama who's too drunk and depressed to be the parent you need"?

But in the end they did stay in contact. She sent helga a postcard and said she was happier back home.

Helga had become accustomed to the disfunction in the household. While it wasn’t ideal, she knew what to expect in her life and that brought her “comfort”. When Inga came in and changed things, Helga grew uncomfortable with everything changing (even though it was positive)

While I felt Inga did cross a few lines, ultimately she did mean well. I think if her and Helga had just talked and maybe worked out a few things it could have been a lot better. But yeah Helga really went way too far with framing her for a crime she did not commit.

Helga got what she wanted, she is lucky 🍀 she didn’t loss all her friends, but she has to Iive with her guilt for the rest of her life.

This is no fairy tale ending, I tell you.

@KeyArt69 hey Arnold always hit deep!

Helga had a lot to learn about how she's truly like.

That letter she gave Helga is a read I still use to this day! “ I trust things will stay the same in your life as always.”

I love it. Actions have consequences and some are permanent. The sooner kids learn that the better.

☹️

Helga was always ruining things.

While Helga is just as miserable, she should've known how her actions really have nasty consequences Now this is all her problem

you see this lady right here, she was speaking to the government

May they reunite in N.J🤗 🏞️

Ahahahaa
