**WARNING: video shows physical assault** 🧵 Thread: Everyone should be able to #WorkWithoutFear. We come to work to help people, not to be abused or assaulted. We've released shocking footage showing our paramedic being pushed out an ambulance by an abusive patient (1/2) ⬇️

Church, why are we celebrating or partaking in ANYTHING on October 31st? Ask yourself, how is anything you are doing on that day honoring God? We are in this world church, not of it. We are commanded to know our enemy and know what he is doing in this evil world. Unfortunately ALL of our “holidays” have pagan roots because satan is the god of this world and it is his desire- every single second of every single day- to drive you and your family away from Christ and away from the Word.

Actor Terry Crews recently participated in a police simulation, and the experience gave him a newfound respect for the challenges law enforcement officers face every day. After completing the exercise, Crews shared his thoughts on the vulnerability and pressure officers experience in split-second decision-making situations. He emphasized how hard it is to truly understand these realities unless you've been in those shoes. This moment of empathy and understanding is a reminder of how critical it is to support those who serve and protect our communities. We salute all law enforcement officers who face these challenges head-on each day. #RespectForLawEnforcement #SupportOurOfficers #BehindTheBadge #PoliceTraining #LawEnforcementRealities #ThankYouOfficers

For the second time, we celebrate Christmas on the same date as one big family, one country. For the second time in modern history, Christmas unites all Ukrainians. Today, we stand side by side. And we will not be lost. Whether in person or in our minds, we will greet each other, call our parents, kiss our children, hug our loved ones, and remember those we hold dear. In person, from afar, or in our hearts – Ukrainians are together today. And as long as we do this, evil has no chance. This unity and warmth toward one another embody the true spirit of Christmas – the unique atmosphere we will preserve within ourselves and share with those around us. With everyone we love. With everyone who is family to us. And today, that means every Ukrainian. Merry Christmas to all of you! Christ is born! Glorify Him!

Word for word this Irishman is so right. Our country is being invaded and 1000s are more interested in football. Women and children getting raped every day. It really is shocking, we sit back and let it happen.

We will hold CenterPoint accountable, but we must get the lights back on for all Houstonians first. Houston Mayor's Office John Whitmire asks Houstonians to welcome the CenterPoint and out of town line crews as they restore our power. Threatening or endangering these crews is not who we are as Houstonians. Please respect and give them space to work. We are stronger together.

I grew up in a city that births movements, and every corner reminds us of the civil rights movement. This is why Dr. MLK Day is every single day in #12thDistrictStrong. We are committed to continuing to fight for justice for all no matter how hard it is.
