But I chose to try it anyway, because the idea of working with Asake was something I never saw coming. And I say this respectfully: he was never on my list of working with. The song was intended for his latest album, _M$ney .We had to hold off because his part on the album was already finalized. What surprised me most is Asake himself. I had perceived him as stern, but working with him showed me a completely different side — he’s genuinely cool. We’ve now completed the music video, and I have a strong feeling this record is gonna be a hit.
