This French start-up uses both solar and wind power in a single unit. It can generate 40% more energy than a regular panel and provide energy 24hrs a day. We have so many solutions to this crisis. Implement them. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy #renewables

24 Hours a day? No solar at night and if the wind isn't blowing, it isn't generating.

While working out something, even some unanticipated solutions would also come up! This is how the human brain unfolds.

Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance. ― Kurt Vonnegut Such a setup would power almost nothing and be a beast to maintain.

@louise18914038 This is my sort of project. Small scale, reliable and easy to reproduce.

I have no interest in IWD’s. The only 24/7 clean energy ids nukes. They are incredible, allowing us to live thriving lives in comfort and safety. IWD’s are great for the camp on the lake.

I think that is the wave of the future. Instead of vast wind or solar farms, every building should have their own wind and solar energy productive.

The combined weight makes it hard to mount this on your roof. Seems more efficient to have roof mounted panels plus yard or field mounted turbines.

@ProfStrachan really like this combo idea. Wish it was taken up in the UK.
