This is probably bait so I'll say this for the comments. You're supposed to let your stamina refill and charge up your attacks and if you do you'd kill this guy in a few hits. I definitely would change a lot about the combat but this is not what this should look like.

no fr though I'm enjoying the level design very much, but i'm not a fan of the combat, I don't think having to wait to do damage really adds anything, you just stay out of their range and do hit and run tactics for almost every enemy

People focusing on the "you have to charge the stamina" and not the fact this kind of enemy design doesnt work with wasd and mouse

@X24Ghosts you're supposed to play it on controller with a fixed turning speed/radius, enemy design was made with this in mind and mkb/option sliders are concessions

Use your throwables bro, they don’t take stamina and it helps fill the downtime. Pull out the torch and toss a magic bolt right click. They don’t want you just spamming left click through every enemy

You have to CHARGE the attack to do max damage. Also different enemies have different resistances to dmg (like you need Clubs for Skeletons..like in D&D). The hit and run attacks are literally a tribute to King's Field (even the name of the game is a tribute to it).

Lmao im a lot more active. Blasting enemies with the magic staff, dumping 6 kunai, then a chakra, inti the same mob, then dash striking for full damage with my holy sword. By the time this happened, i have another throwing weapon to toss... You dont have to play hit and run lmao

I would recommend throwing your daggers when you wait for your stamina to recharge. Also the azure torch you probably have at this point has special skill on cooldown so use it at the start for fire DOT.

Played the demo of this game for 20 minutes, uninstalled and removed it from my wishlist. Lunacid is 100x better than this

Ngl this gameplay is such a vibe tho? How is it any worse than playing a grind game? I assume every enemy is different and there are some that one or 2 shot you if unprepared? So the challenge is not in the walking forwards and backwards it's how you plot out your progression.

of course the #1 Morrowind fan would say this /j
