I kept thinking back to oldschool mechanics where simply touching an enemy hurts you... but it's their attacks instead here. Sliding is one of the most fundamental things you should get used to especially with bosses so you can dance around them.

I wish they kept this effect when you go back to this area, hopefully they'll patch it
