The car in this video won’t actually be implemented in the game, so it’s a rough model I threw together in about 10 minutes, but even so, the destruction effects in Rising are really amazing, aren’t they?😆

After watching this video, I went outside to see if I was taller than a car, and I was. So yes, the size is realistic. (Lol)

It was a model I prepared in about 10 minutes, so I didn’t even have time to worry about the scale 😂

Why is there a lag-motion?

You’re probably talking about hit stop? I slightly pause time when you hit an enemy to make it feel more impactful, and I’m also using it for slicing. But based on feedback, it might feel better without it.

Actually, if you look into it, there’s quite a bit of reference material available. To put it simply, it involves duplicating 3D polygons, recalculating the vertices along the cut surface, and then regenerating new polygons from that.

It's because her animation is freezing more than once per strike. That makes it feel like she's running at 5 fps xD

You could set a flag to detect if the animation already went through hitstop, and not reapply it in that case.
