why not put the screw in the valley?

You're supposed to screw the valleys, not the hills, on corrugated tin. I suppose if you must screw a hill, this is a decent product ... have fun fixing those through the middle section.

This is corrugated metal and you put the screw in the valley of the sheet you retard

are you a fucking idiot?...use the valley, ratard

Try that 10 ft up a 22 ft sheet. I just throw them in the valleys never had a issue

That isn't a roof tile, its a corrugated metal roofing sheet.

That is not a roof tile. It’s called a pipe spacer. These have been around forever. Do better.

Or maybe don’t be a dumb fuck and use the filler strip that is designed for that very purpose jackass.

No, that is not correct, a genius would install it properly. The fasteners go in the flat creases that make flat contact with the surface, look closely.

Genius might be a little exaggerated 🙁

Or you could just screw it at the low point of the rib, like it was engendered to do.

Checks out

You know what else solves this?? Screw into the valley of the metal, not the peak, you complete morons.

Is there an invention that stops the customer from getting screwed?

That's the most retarded "trick" I've seen today

Just don't over tighten the screw ! And no if you put the screw in the lower part you will get leaks

There's no accounting for stupid... I'll leave it here.

And a 140 mph wind thanks you

Umm…. You’re not supposed to screw there

Or you could use the correct roofing screw.

Or you could just not be dumb, and screw it down on the flat, not the ridge.

You don’t put screws in the highs, just the valleys unless it’s a seam

I just seen a lot of comments on this post, to 'screw in the valley' of your corrugated roof. Don't do that unless you want to Leaky Roof. Install properly using the proper screws with gaskets and proper foam or rubber closures. geez

Not supposed to run screws thru your highs.Uou run your screws thru the lows, where it’s making contact with base material.

If you put the screws in the right place, it won't leak. And you won't smash it

Or just use closure strips.

Or...hear me out...fasten through the valley like you're supposed to. I'm a sucker for click-bait...

Or use the right screw in the right location

This is moronic

Fixings go through the valley, not the ridge.

That will work great…at the very end of the sheet. What about the remaining 12 feet of Sheetmetal you have to put screws in?

They sell ready made spacers for that, lol.

Put the fastening in the channel?

Or you could just buy the correct screws for the job.
