I love Dyson but yeah shark hoed it out in this video holy shit. I own that Dyson and everything in this video is accurate. Worse, that hard floor attachment she used is useless for piles/messes and gets dirty easily even with relatively clean floors. Constantly taking it out to clean it.

I’ve had them both and Dyson is so much more expensive but Shark is so much better

The shark vacuum pet pro or whatever is single handedly the worst purchase I’ve ever made. I had to buy a Henry to replace it.

I own that Shark, it's pretty decent. Very rarely get anything stuck in the roller. It's easy to clean, the entire filter comes apart and you can just wash it out. After it dries, I add a few drops of essential oil to the upper filter pad. It always smells like roses when I vacuum. I own one cat.

Shark quality is crap, have used Dyson for more than 5 years and have had no problems with it. Just get a generation older and they are like $350

I have it, the center tube is so thin and most of the time there will be dust stuck in there. And battery life is poor. @SharkHomeUK

Dyson is complete garbage. The vacuum, fans, purifiers… they all break down right after warranty expires The hair dryer is quite durable tho… for now

Dyson vacuums work great, but I hate emptying them. The bin is usually full of dusty debris, so emptying it throws up a nasty dust cloud.

Both garbage consumer grade junk. Get a Riccar if you want something that sucks every spec of dirt and dust out of your carpet.

Honestly, reading this while my old vacuum still sounds like a jet engine taking off makes 2026 feel aggressively futuristic. If that thing actually handles pet hair without getting tangled every two minutes, sign me up for whatever timeline we are in.
