This is an excellent point, although I think economic factors are an even greater contributor. All the pro-natalist policies in the world won't increase birth rates if young people are socially isolated and too broke to even move out on their own, let alone consider having children.

Excellent insight into a problem that my dad recognized and warned me about decades ago. He was a programmer in the old days. He told me everything on the internet is forever. And I have lived my life with that thought in mind as the internet became a more integral part of life.

Hell, I’m way past that demographic and I won’t date anymore either for that reason. As a GenXer I still value my privacy but that’s not a consideration anymore. That and the economy is tanking so the dating ritual is now a line item. Good luck, kids, you’re kinda fuct…
