Since this was produced we've learned a lot more about Yule/Jul, the myths, pagan or pre-Christian Norse/Germanic traditions and some things in this segment are not correct and other things can be expanded upon. We still enjoy this video though and the overall theme is correct. We intend to do an updated video for next year's Yule/Christmas 2025.

This video is great at explaining the context of Valko’s trailer and how it was vastly misinterpreted and twisted by the media to show he was “breaking and entering,” which is completely far from the truth. First of all, it is a bond trailer where MC and Valko know each other already in the story, so their interaction is one of consent. Second, if you continue to watch, Valko is hurt and came to MC for help. Please give this video a watch to understand what truly happened. Really sad that people maliciously took such a funny and cute trailer and made it into something it was not.

I wanted to talk about the “harem” aspect of Chitose Is In The Ramune Bottle and how I feel it’s done differently than most “harem” shows. First of all yes all the heroines do have feelings for Saku, yes each of them know that they all have feelings for him and each heroine have a unique relationship with Saku when it comes down to their conversations and how they hang out. I think the biggest difference from other romcom/harem protagonist is Saku himself and how he is aware of all the girls liking him but because of his philosophy (the video i posted shows what Saku thinks about “falling in love”) he chooses not to pursue a relationship with anyone. The nature of the protagonist and the nature of the story/set up I feel is what makes it different from any other romcoms, it also doesn’t help that the author makes good cases for why Saku should be with (insert heroine) every moment with the cast feels like they can be a couple in any other series.

At a Q&A, John MacArthur is asked about Christian nationalism. The kingdom of God is not of this world. Jesus said that. He said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would [fight].” His kingdom is not of this world. The kingdom of this world is a separate world; they’re not linked together. Let me say it another way: Nothing that happens in any nation, whether it’s a Communist nation, a Muslim nation, or a “quasi-Christian” nation, or an atheistic nation—nothing in that nation politically, socially has anything to do with the advancement of the kingdom of God, because the kingdom of God is separate from that system. God, in His sovereignty, is building His church, “and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it,” Jesus said. So the idea that you should link up some political effort, some political process, some social process, some gain of power or influence in a culture as part of the advance of Christianity is alien to Christianity. You never have our Lord approaching anything like that, nor the apostles, and particularly the apostle Paul. He sought to gain no favor with the Roman Empire whatsoever, or for that matter, with any other of the rulers that he ran into during his life. Now, that is not to say that we are indifferent to what happens in the nation. We’ve been talking about that the last couple of Sunday mornings. We have to be the people who uphold righteousness. When we come to vote, we want to vote for that which is the most righteous option. Obviously, we can’t vote in righteousness, but we have to vote in a way that reflects our commitment to the righteousness of God. So we couldn’t possibly elect somebody who was an abortionist, somebody who was LGBTQ or LGBTQ-affirming, or any other deviation from God’s righteous moral standard. So it gets harder, doesn’t it, nowadays, because even sometimes when politicians are more conservative and anti-abortion, they may be sinful and wicked in some other categories, and it’s very hard to find out who is really honest and who is simply dishonest and seeking power. But in the end, we do what we can with the understanding that the responsibility of the church is not to advance the kingdom of this world. That’s a faulty viewpoint. Christian nationalism is usually tied to what is called post-millennialism, and that is the view that the church, somehow, by influencing the culture, can bring in the kingdom of Christ. In other words, it’s the idea not that Christ returns and sets up His kingdom, but that the church establishes His kingdom and then hands it to Him. That is not what Scripture teaches. What Scripture teaches is what we’re learning from the book of Revelation. Things are going to get worse and worse and worse. And the end of human history is not the church triumphant, reigning in the world and taking over the structures of human kingdoms; that’s not what happens. At the end of human history, the believers are persecuted and murdered, and that’s the very opposite of what Christian nationalism would anticipate. So we believe the Bible teaches that things get worse and worse, headed toward the wrath of God, which we’re seeing in Revelation, and then our Lord returns, Himself, to establish His kingdom is clearly what we read in the book of Revelation. OK?

The “Ozzie Drill.” In 1998, I was watching an interview on ESPN with Ozzie Smith, and he talked about his favorite drill…one that he uses to “improve, polish, and trust his glove instincts.” in the drill, Ozzie got on his knees and had a coach “Pepper” him from a short distance, and he had to let his hands work freely to pick or press the short hop or short in-between hop. No thinking … just trust. Get the brain out of the way. Because thinking is slow. I stayed awake at night thinking of ways I could modify this drill to work when working with a group of infielders. It hit me in the middle of one night. Woke up from a dead sleep of a way that we could make the drill very predictable and simplified. Once the foundation of the drill was built and mastered, I could grow the drill and make it unpredictable and much more challenging. ***The video below is a culmination of 26 years of teaching this drill. My son, Taber, grew up doing this drill as a little boy, HS player and college player. This video is him executing the Ozzie drill on his knees and feet when he was playing SS for UNCW. My heart goes out to Charlie Kirk's family. This is a tragic shooting and from all appearances, it is an act of political violence. Political violence is on the rise and it is a sign of crisis and weakness in a democracy. I condemn all forms of political violence. We all must take responsibility for working to end it, to secure our democracy and to promote peace and strength in our nation and beyond.

THIS 👇 is what healing looks like….2 years ago, I could barely recall this story without breaking down in tears and emotion. I’ve talked about it numerous times since then, with those who were there and on stage in front of an audience. Everytime I tell it, it gets a little easier. I process it a little more….and now I can tell this story without breaking down in tears. I haven’t forgotten the emotion of the event, I’m not a robot or have become immune…I have PROCESSED it and HEALED. The more you talk about your trauma, whatever that may be, the more you will heal…I promise….i did it. 🫶
