This happened to me when I was a kid at a Shoney’s restaurant. I was 9 and I had put a ring on that wouldn’t come off earlier. My dad noticed it and immediately took me in the parking lot and asked some men if they had any snippers in their car and of course one did. My ring came off and my dad didn’t embarrass me about it one bit.
