Staged or not there are women like this so never ignore red flags early on men. You have to test her from time to time early on and see how crazy or selfish she is capable of being. You don’t want to get trapped with a psycho/narcissist.

Legally speaking, putting anything in food that can cause a life threatening damage or do any harm to a person, and doing that knowingly about the outcome, is attempted body harm and/or attempted murder. He should press charges and distance from her asap.
