He was dedicated to the constant & never ending struggle to improve on laws, institutions & wathan. Did not start with MDP. Didn’t end with MDP. Till his last days he worked for what he believed in… even if it was not in Raajje. Even if none heard about it… as often is the case with the work he does. Mohamed Latheef… my father… saw this video where my bappa is also there… brought back memories of his life… He was a simple, humble & honorable man. Deeply religious & giving. May Allah be pleased with him & grant him Paradise. Aamin

Mayor Adam Azim, You cheered loudly for your big election wins in major cities. You got the council majority you wanted, but the city still looks neglected. A 100% Muslim country during Eid, and the streets are looking as dark and empty as a ghost town. But hey, who needs festive lights when we have the MDP? They must think our happiness is just an optional feature. The city council has the cash. They just chose to keep the streets dark. It is Eid, but we would never know it by looking outside. The public gave them a second chance. They blew it. Keeping a Muslim nation happy during its biggest holiday was just too much work. Throwback video; as to why PayPal would likely not come to Maldives anytime soon, 2 years ago, Sep 2023, explaining MDP Secretariat Government of Maldives Ministry of Economic Development and Trade Fayyaz Ismail efforts. Fast forward 1 year 9 months to June 2025, for PNC Secretariat to come up with the same conclusion. What an utter waste of time. Of course, it was just candy for the younger voters. My response to this bizarre announcement. [ And then, right before election the Dr Mohamed Muizzu government minister Ibrahim Khaleel lied by announcing that PayPal was available shortly before parliament election. Councillor Saif Fathih explains with clarity the failures and false promises of Mayor Adam Azim, Mayor of Male’ City. 🔹 Councillors are policy advisors and vote on decisions, they do not hold executive/enforcement power. But Mayor does. 🔹 Azim pledged to disclose all land agreements. Not only has he failed to do that, but he continues to hand out more land instead of being transparent. 🔹 He promised to put a stop to parking slot misuse and commercialisation. Yet, no action has been taken. 🔹 For 534 days, Azim has claimed he’s “checking things” but nothing has come of it. At this rate, by the time any review ends, the problems will either be hidden or dismissed. 🔹 Azim came into office saying the city was in bad shape. But after all this time, nothing has improved. The issues remain. Azim is an MDP Mayor. A few MDP members continue to defend him. But blind support only harms the party’s credibility. True supporters of MDP must have the courage to hold their own accountable. Defending failure does not strengthen the party, it weakens it. Azim has consistently failed to deliver. 534 days is a long time to bring transparency and make meaningful improvements. He also has dozens of high paid consultants, which makes it even harder to understand why progress has been so slow. With that level of support and resources, there’s no excuse for continued delays and inaction.

Once Anni wins the Chairperson election, we must immediately start painting Faya’s photos and campaign posters all over the country, take full control of all MDP Jagaha and use Anni’s position and authority to convince sponsors and businesses to channel their funds directly toward Faya’s campaign. So we must fully trust them and not be ashamed to do what is necessary. The plan has to be radical cause we want to bring radical changes to Maldives. Thousands of Maldivians will join MDP after Anni’s victory and once we secure full control of all Jagaha across islands, we can easily dominate MDP Congress too. It’s very important that we target Jagaha, bring all hardcore grassroots supporters on all islands on board and channel funds to their campaigns if they want to rerun for their positions cause they form the Congress. The plan is very clear. First win the Chairperson post, then bring Gaumee Majlis members on board (while making sure we win as many GM seats as possible), take control of all Jagaha, mobilise the grassroots, sway the Congress our way and finally secure Faya’s victory in the presidential primary. We are not doing anything illegal. Some people might question the method but once we win the presidential election they will understand. Congressional Democrats are calculating that the pain and suffering their shutdown inflicts on American families is worthwhile leverage to acquire new power. The Trump EPA has worked as much as possible to mitigate the damage of the Democrats’ refusal to reopen government, but with carry over funding at the agency drying up more each day, the next shutdown decision ahead of us will unfortunately have to be the most severe.
