4D chess : Either by utilizing multiple 3D chess boards or by somehow incorporating time as the fourth dimension. 4D chess does not actually exist as a physical game to my knowledge, but when people say that someone is playing 4D chess, It means that they are being incredibly intelligent in planning out their strategies in whatever they're doing. Many times, It has been said that world leaders are playing grand game of chess when they maneuver armies while at war, this is just stating that the person is thinking even further ahead than that.
