All of this is true. However, enough time away from friends, family, and the familiar, and one does miss it. Endless blue skies, and a lack of real connection, eventually becomes tiring. There is nowhere like home.

I've seen it happen here where at a certain point, someone has a never ending stream of bad luck that's just statistically evil. So I tell people, I see in this situation, something similar. "This town, for some people, has a time limit. And when your time is up, this town will chase you out of it. Take its advice and move on don't fight it.

People underestimate how much location changes your life. In the UK you pay £1,500 for grey skies, shit food and dangerous streets. In Bali you can live for £700 with sun, fresh food, a pool, and peace. Change your location, change your reality 🫡

sadly to say that the Brits are the least travel Europeans , if they travel they end up with in Ibiza getting drunk or to Madeira ( Spanish british island) . they have no clue how the rest of the world is living . brits assume they got the best QOL as the BBC is brainwashing them daily

I agree to a point. In my 20’s - I packed up all I could in my little Honda - and headed west to Colorado. It shifted the energy in my life. Nature, sunshine and mountains. It didn’t change the core of who I was - but gave me a space to tap into the part of me that loves nature.

Just travel as much as you can and you’ll gain back the sense of wonder you had as a child. Does it for me everytime. When I say travel, I mean go to a different country or a different continent and observe the differences, the people’s life for few weeks.
