spider sees own reflection

Spiders sense their prey through vibrations in their web. The water is clearly going through his web which is probably simulating a prey bug caught in the web and wiggling. So I doubt the spider is trying to take a shower, it probably thinks there is food stuck in the web. And the spider is trying to catch it and eat wrap it for later.
