This guy gives us an update on the tree he burned down instead of using a chainsaw. He said he didn’t use a chainsaw because it was dead and hollow inside and he was worried about it crumbling down on top of him. He said in regard to the... worry about root fire, he said so far there is no root fire and they picked that weekend because it had rained there for three days and the ground was super saturated and he said there was little to no wind. He also said there were no gas lines, no utility lines and he said the closest neighbor is like 200 yards away. Still some are saying it doesn’t matter if the ground above was saturated with water and that roof fire can manifest itself days, even weeks later. It’s clear he knew to much and exposed a lot.
