he’s got a point however, the jobs that moved are more simple manufacturing jobs, not the engineers there aren’t 10s of millions highly knowledgeable engineers being incentivized by adequate wages in the USA and they just simply don’t do their homework it’s reductionist and petty, the points he tries to make with economic incentives engineers do come from USA, but the millions of jobs moved to mexico and china over the last few decades aren’t for high level college educated engineers, it’s basic manufacturing jobs that need skill but not what he’s talking about he’s a smart comedian but his anti-USA pro dem positions are condescending and inaccurate he, like many asian immigrants, see the USA as merely an economic free for all zone for the world. it’s not and should not be we will compete on the world stage with other countries but the country needs to support their own people (who are quite capable) rather than find the cheaper outsourced foreign and non-American scab from asia to save money
