#WATCH | Haryana | BJP MP from Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh, says, "Waterlogging has been occurring in Gurugram for years. The main reason is that development has taken place over the old, traditional drains that used to carry water from the hills to the Yamuna. We are still dealing with the consequences of this development that happened during the Congress era today. The only way to fix this now is to construct underground tunnels, similar to those built for the Metro, along the paths of the old drains to channel the water through those original routes. What we are doing right now is essentially a 'Band-Aid' solution. It offers some relief, but if we block the water in one place, it finds a way out elsewhere. The government is working on this, and we are arranging the necessary funds."

This was happening to this family while we were all celebrating on the 4th of July. Heavy rains and flooding. The yard drain/catch basin outside was clogged with pine needles. Water started pouring in through their basement window. This is the second time this has happened. 😳 Having a basement is great but if you live in an area prone to flash floods, you need to make sure your yard drain/catch basin is free from debris and not clogged. You also may want to build something around those window wells that can divert water away.💯 Look at how much water is pouring through. Looks like a river! That’s going to be a lot of mold! 🤯 Definitely not the way you want to spend your 4th of July. Do you have a yard drain/catch basin to help keep water away from your house?

How magical and beautiful is this? Near Montacute in Somerset, travelling along this hollow way. This has been formed over centuries by people and livestock, together with the erosion from water. England has some truly gorgeous places.

This must be one of the riskiest jobs in the world. I can't even imagine the skill it takes to be a chopper pilot in this condition. The guy is literally flying feets away from things that he's supposed to stay away from. The linesman is trusting the pilot with his Life 😀🚁
