Every government employee should have no choice but to have the same medical benefits they give us at the VA. If they don’t like it, they can pay for better themselves. I have one of the few truly real Politicians on our Board of Supervisors. He was really supportive of a project but after discussing it with the Community found they truly didn't want it to happen...so he voted No!!!! This is the way its supposed to be for every office out there!

I would vote for this Patriot and fellow American and would be proud to send him to Washington. Get him on the ballot. I don’t care how many bar room brawls he was in or anything else he leaned the hard way.

Every notice that no average blue color worker, who isn't wealthy, never gets elected to congress, senate, or president. Why does someone need millions of dollars to run for a public office who represents the public? Apparently it's not as open to the public as they say, huh

PER DIEM for Congress.They don't show up-they don't get paid. They don't work-they don't get paid. How about no bills passed and signed- no payment. No special insurance for Congress. No special laws for retirement pay after FIVE years and it doesn't get paid until 65 yo.

Put all of these politicians on minimum wage and watch how fast things change.

We need to start a congress of the people. Each each group or area chooses crowd funded representatives that aren't connected to government. Those representatives then let government officials know how many people they represent, what their demands are and the consequences.

The best part of voting to give themselves raises is.... every time Trump tries to send Americans money.... the uniparty votes it down.

Also...if said community wanted a law passed, said representative would take it to D.C. to be voted on. He would return home and live under that proposed law for however long and then the people of that community would decide if they wanted it or not. My how times have changed
