Crazy how we went from programming being the most useful skill in the world to it being one of the first ones replaced by AI

I wonder how far all this will go. I doubt everyone will just build their own. Why do I say that? They don't want to. Most people have other interests in their life. Building their own software isn't it. It will raise the bar though. So at the end of the day it will still come down to those who actually put in the effort. ;)

I agree that most people don't want to build software. For sure. But this won't even feel like building software. Everyone still wants their problems solved. And some of those problems are solvable using tech. So they'll just vibe code it. In my opinion, people will just be able to ask for what they want and these vibe-coding platforms will be able to build it out without even showing the user what the code looks like. That's where we are headed.
