This painting shows the most heartbreaking reunion in all of literature. To understand it, you have to know who the dog is... His name is Argos, and he belongs to Ulysses, the Greek hero also known as Odysseus. Before Ulysses sailed away to fight in the Trojan War, he had raised Argos from a puppy, a fast and beautiful hunting dog. Then the war called, and Ulysses left. He would not come home for twenty years. When Ulysses finally set foot on his own island again, he came in disguise, dressed as a beggar, so that no one would know him. His house was full of men trying to steal his wife and his kingdom. To survive, he had to remain a stranger in his own home. No one recognized him. Not his loyal servants. Not the people who had known him all his life. But lying in the dirt by the gate, old and forgotten, covered in ticks, too weak to stand, was a dog. Argos had waited twenty years. And the moment he saw him, he knew. He was the only one. Nearly blind, half dead, he lifted his head and pricked up his ears, and he wagged his tail for the master he had never stopped waiting for. Ulysses saw him. And because he was in disguise, surrounded by enemies, he could not run to him, could not kneel down, could not say his name. He could only look at his old friend and, turning his face away so no one would see, let a single tear fall. And then, in Homer's own words, "the dark shadow of death closed down on Argos' eyes, the instant he had seen Odysseus, twenty years away." He had held on to life for one reason only: he was waiting to see him come home. And the moment he did, he could finally let go... It is such a beautiful painting, and the look on that dog's face is so universal, so instantly understood by anyone who has ever loved and waited, that it is enough to bring a grown man to tears.

🚨 FIRED WHATABURGER EMPLOYEE CLAIMS COWORKERS "THREATENED TO ASSASSINATE ME LIKE CHARLIE KIRK" — SAYS HR WAS CALLED OVER “JESUS” Byron has posted a new video explaining why he says he was fired, and the allegations are serious. In the video, he claims several coworkers threatened him repeatedly, telling him to “invest in a coffin” and saying they would harm him. At one point, he says they allegedly compared it to him being shot “like Charlie Kirk was assassinated,” repeating that phrase directly in his video. He also claims one manager personally threatened him. According to Byron, HR was called on him for “talking about Jesus and spreading the gospel” at work. He says he believes what happened was “injustice,” but added, “I don’t want to bash Whataburger… that’s not what Jesus would do.” After his firing, supporters flooded the store’s online pages with reviews. Byron now claims those reviews were removed, saying “not a single one is there.” He asked his followers for one thing: “No death threats. No violence.” Saying he’s leaving it “at the foot of the cross.” He also shared a GoFundMe, explaining he can’t collect unemployment because he worked there about five and a half months, just short of six. What started as positive food reviews has now escalated into claims of threats, religious retaliation, and disappearing reviews. If even part of this is accurate, it raises serious questions. What do you think is really happening here?

I recently talked to Dr. Josef 🇺🇸 about this taboo question on American Thought Leaders 🇺🇸 with @JanJekielek. Here's what most people don't know about these drugs: “If you just look at the drug labels for Adderall and Ritalin, in the Warnings and Precautions, it already lists aggression and hostility. …If you look at SSRIs, it already lists there in the label that they increase the risk of suicidal behavior. It lists hostility, agitation and violence. If you look at Abilify, which is an anti-psychotic, homicidal ideation is already in there. …Time and time again, we've seen this go through the court system, and judges and juries have found that this has been involved. Perhaps the most well-known case of this was a case in Wyoming, and it involved a gentleman called Don Schell. He was an older man, and he had been exposed to Prozac in the past, an SSRI, and he had an agitated response to it, and they stopped it quickly. His next doctor, who did not know that he had that history in the past, gave him a drug called Paxil. …Within a week, he killed his wife, he killed his daughter, and he killed his granddaughter, and then he shot himself. An unspeakable tragedy for the family. Now the surviving son-in-law—his daughter's husband and the father of the grandchild that he lost—brought suit…He was given a million dollar verdict. It was for failure to warn. …The same thing happened in Australia, a man strangled and killed his wife during a bad reaction to Paxil again. And the judge ruled there as well, if not for the drug, this wouldn't have happened.”
