This guy redefined ‘living under a rock.’

Frank Critzer dynamited a home under Giant Rock in the 1930s. The 7 story granite boulder in California kept his rooms between 55 and 80 degrees all year while the desert outside swung from 25 to 115.

That’s taking “living under a rock” to an impressive new level of commitment.
