Usham seems to think that the youth of this country are so ignorant that his “high-level” legal terminology, written into this bill, will not be understood at all by anyone else. Last night, he went on lying without pause probably for that reason. If there is any bill that needs to be passed, it should be one that stops Muizzu, his ministers, and the Attorney General from lying on national television, at podiums, and in state-sponsored newspapers. The extent of their lies has made them a nationwide laughingstock. No one trusts them. The real issue is that their lies are being exposed, along with their corruption. The recent revelation of a 631 million MVR project awarded to RCC to build just 55 council buildings is a clear example, and it is precisely why they want to clamp down on social media and independent media.

If you only listen to that one sentence out of context, you will believe that he's equating white supremacists with protesters who want to take down monuments. But listen to the rest and you'll see that's a lie. Plenty of reasons to dislike and criticize Trump, but lies in the end only cause distrust. They might work for a while, but eventually people will discover that they are being taken for fools. And you won't get that trust back. Leaving off essential context IS a type of a lie. And this far from the only example. This happens every day towards all sorts of people who are not Trump. Look for the full unedited clip, always. Once I started doing that, my eyes opened. It was a big part of my journey and why I speak openly about things today. I don't hate journalism or journalists. I love both...when they do their job properly. When they don't, we are failed as a society on a massive level. Today, when I hear an accusation that someone like Trump said something insane, my reaction is to set aside my biases and verify. I don't believe or disbelieve it until I can check (sometimes it is true!). But repeated deception has led so many people to just reject everything the mainstream media says wholesale, even when it's true. They shouldn't, they should verify. But that's the reality. And it's the manipulation of narratives by media and a number of institutions that has led us here. Distrust is at an all time high. Quickest way to lose trust? Be caught in lies.

Those of us who voted and fought for President Trump to get back into this White House can also sit here and give you a litany of successes. Is he perfect? Of course he’s not. He’s a human being. We are all sinners and we are all imperfect. But he is one of the best presidents we have ever had in this country and to say otherwise is disingenuous if you were claiming to be a big Trump supporter for the past 10 years. CNN’s Scott Jennings calls out the vile, ugly implication Democrats are trying to concoct about Donald Trump in the #EpsteinFiles, which is they so desperately want evidence Trump participated in Epstein’s unspeakable crimes… Jennings: “I think [the White House] believe[s] that the time spent on this and that the Republicans who bought into the Democratic tactics on this are ultimately hurting the president’s agenda and hurting the overall Republican effort to change this country for the better. The President firmly believes this is nothing but a distraction tactic ginned up by Democrats who didn’t care about this one bit until a couple of months ago. They didn’t care about it when Joe Biden was the President. Now they care about it to try to tie up this presidency. He’s lived through these things before. He’s lived through these kinds of, you know, wild goose chases before. It’s all designed to tie him up. He recognizes it. He doesn’t want his own party members to fall for it.
