This was emotional for me. I own two properties myself off admiralty infact my staff quarters for my staff is directly behind the ifitness in between Morphet and Union bank on same side of black bell. Most nights when i come to Farm City for their Sharwarma or go to black bell , these ladies stand looking for customers , they wear skimpy short dresses and I have always been sympathetic towards them considering the gutters around them are breeding grounds for some of the most wickedest mosquitoes 🦟 in the history of Nigeria. They get bitten by these mosquitoes that suck their proboscis into them , when it rains you see some of them with umbrellas still waiting for customers , they stand sometimes hungry and eat whatever the street provides (the women who hawk food at night or the Aboki suya guy making some suya). One day I went into Pure life pharmacy nearby to get some medications and one of them was there shivering of malaria and the pharmacist said she does not even have money to buy meds and yet she is outside looking for customers. I paid for the medication only to come out around 1am on my way to VI to still see same girl on the road still waiting for customers. Many times we look down upon these individuals that we forget that they are humans , daughters , sisters , mothers even wives. I have judged them many times and often as my house in lagos is situated right there and it could be an eyesore sometimes. This is an eye opener for me to judge not , in the end we wish and hope for a better Nigeria………. God bless this guy …….
