My son got a job at Tyson meat packing in Indiana when he first got out of high school. He was the only one there who spoke English except the manager, who spoke English as a second language.

Yes, we have them here in this state, I believe. I’ve seen where they are running restaurants in Columbia, lawn care services in Saint Matthews, they had them working at the company I was working for. They were running an I-Hop in Columbia when my husband and I sat down to get something to eat. The waitress that waited on us was laughing and talking to the other two employees over us in their own language. We decided since we had no clue what they were laughing about, and saying, we didn’t need to be eating there, so we walked out. I see them everywhere in this state. I just can’t prove it 100%, however, they come in stores and dressed to the hilt in new clothes, with several kids, new vehicles and wads of cash. Most don’t speak any English. I think they are protected here, and that is just my assessment after I questioned it. I walked into a store I didn’t know existed in Orangeburg, SC. It was a Beauty Supply store, and it looked like Middle Easterners running it. I understand that we can’t just label everyone an illegal, but something doesn’t seem right. I drive a used truck, and never have cash on me. Couldn’t afford to own a business, but these people own businesses and most don’t even speak the language. How, is my question?
