A spokesperson for the Met said: "A 37-yr-old man has been arrested and remains in custody following an assault in Bredgar Rd at 7.50am on Saturday, November 18. Shortly before 18:00 on Sunday, November 19, police attended an address in Bredgar Road, N19, to carry out an arrest enquiry. Taser was deployed during the arrest of a man for assault on an emergency worker. A woman was also arrested for obstructing police. Four officers were injured in the incident, including two who required hospital treatment. The man and woman have been taken into custody. Enquiries continue. We are aware of a video circulating of this incident.

Horrible to watch. Even when they know they are being watched they have no fear of any consequences. The streets haven’t been lost, they’ve been given away.

[Knife attack by Enricher in Holloway] I think it's time to start carrying a suitable implement for self-defence. The police (what police?) will only find out if/when you need to use it, in which case it's lawful to use. Tradesmen should have no difficulty selecting a "device".
