The Cardinals, Chiefs, Vikings, and Buccaneers have led the way in recent years in using open post coverage behind pressure. This year, Tampa remained in the top 10 but reduced its usage, relying more on traditional Fire Zone coverage. With that schematic pivot, Tampa focused heavily on "roll" coverages to "Trap 2's" and non-traditional Tampa coverages. Here is an example of a Safety 5-man pressure with a 2-Roll concept behind it against the Lions. --

•Vista Grande Football 25’ EDGE Athiaun Arol has been going to WORK on the camp circuit this summer!! Arol is impressive to watch with how explosive he is getting off the ball and his speed off the edge along with his ability to bend. Had 9 sacks last year as a Junior and would not be surprised to see those numbers trend up in his senior season.

This is an oldie but ever so applicable with summer coming to a close in the northern hemisphere. That rough around the greens is healthy and happy. Try this if you are less than 2 feet into the rough. It’s a great escape shot to have in your arsenal! Ball behind trail foot / Putter delofted to project the ball INTO the turf / You’ll typically hit this shot softer than you might anticipate / Ball will pop up and over the rough before landing in the fringe and trickling up to the hole. Give it a go!
