Lots of posts critical of Bryan Torres for not catching this ball that broke up Dustin May's no-hitter. Just a 20% catch probability on this 108 MPH liner, and that doesn't consider it's in shadow for most of the flight and then comes into bright sunlight at the end. Decent argument it would have been one of the best catches of the year if he made it. It's just a routine double well past most outfielders and they don't get blamed for not saving a no-hitter.

I got eye tracking working with the look at shader. It's all on one material and obviously it's not perfect but it's a good start. You can make it so it only does this in the camera to make sure you're always looking at the camera for photos.

Nobody comes into my office and says they've been losing ground for years. They come in for a knee or a shoulder. But when you ask the right questions, a different story emerges. They stopped hiking because it got too hard. They gave up tennis. They hesitate before the stairs they used to take without thinking. It's not a dramatic event. Instead, it's a gradual shrinking of what's physically possible, so slow that people mistake the adaptation for a choice. It wasn't a choice. It was the slow, quiet disappearance of capacity that nobody warned them to protect. They normalized all the changes and attributed them solely to aging. The narrowing is not inevitable!! Dammit... it's not ;-)! But it requires intention to resist because the body will not hold the capacity to do things you do not train, and the losses accumulate in silence until they don't.

even so, I trust that any new watcher will be able to pick up what's going on. The people who made the OVAs shown from time and time again that they have faith in their viewers that they'll be able to understand the world building that culminated to this point. You can start the other shows prior to this, either before or after this OVA and it will still feel like a proper climax leading up to this. The story beats in this show are pretty good in the sense that anyone can understand it, it's not universally profound but it does a good job in highlighting perspectives of every side and have a glimpse at what happened that lead up to it.

WHY is this thing in my bathroom and why does it move like that?! 😭 My neighbor grabbed it with a paper towel and a few seconds later her hand started burning and turning red. We’re literally at the emergency room right now because nobody knows if this thing is actually dangerous or not 💀 I’ve NEVER seen anything like this in my life.
