Looks like Reform UK's welfare policy is just a DIY knock-off of ours...plus a £3 billion pledge to scrap the 2-child cap. You can’t claim to cut the welfare bill while adding to it. Populism has a price.

On 2nd Dec 1999, devolution powers were given back to NI, 25 years on, is this what we envisaged? The cycles of collapse, the grinding down of people, the cynical approach to governing- reform of the institutions is absolutely necessary if we are ever to achieve systems that deliver for people. Reform isn't a nice to have; it is now critical.
