The joke is the nerd listing a bunch of nerd shit. Big Bang Theory is only funny if you understand it as mockery of nerds and geeks being cringy

If you can't see the joke here, then you just don't understand how comedy works. It's not the actual list of references themselves, it's the fact that someone is making highly convoluted rules to a game. The nerdy references are inconsequential and could be replaced with anything

The set up for this joke is literally the scene prior. You just cut it out and then screamed for no reason knowing it was set up before.

the joke is how extra they are. playing multiple games in order to figure out who goes first in the first game IS the joke. not the games they named. its okay to not find it funny but dont get mad bc YOU dont see the joke🤦🏾‍♂️😭

I always felt this was "Geek Face" entertainment. Meant to ridicule and make fun of us and what we loved.

My sister who was massive nerd told me this show is funny and I should see it. I watched the WoW episode and thought it unfunny and written by people who do not understand it. Also my sister larps.

I saw a great youtube video essay on toxic nerd culture and how big bang theory is at the forefront of the movement. The show is rife with wildly inappropriate misogynist, sexist, racist, and even rape jokes, all under the guise of “we’re just nerds so how can we be bad people”

American sitcoms are unfunny and extremely overrated.

It’s not a very funny joke but the guy in the video is an idiot for not understanding the joke. They’re acting serious about something obviously ridiculous and childish. This is very well trodden ground.
