She went to pick her dog up from her mom’s house after a dog-sitting stay… and he completely refused to leave his human grandma’s side. This dog is usually excited to jump in the car, but that day it took 20 minutes and she finally had to carry him out herself. She couldn’t figure out why he was acting so strange. A few hours later she found out her grandmother (her mom’s mom) had passed away. It really feels like he somehow knew and just wanted to stay close to give her comfort. Dogs sense so much more than we give them credit for. Has your dog ever seemed to know something before you did?

She asks him to step out of the vehicle for her own safety. He questions why and claims she’s taking his money, but she says he is only getting a warning. So who is right? Should he step out because he was asked, or is there reason for him to ask why? If he’s just getting a warning, should she write it and send him on his way? Is there a grey area on how people should act during stops like this? If it’s me, I’m stepping out of the vehicle.
