New ATC software coming from Duffy/Trump in the next few weeks looks likely to involve ASI’s Flyways AI — the same platform Joby partnered with in April. Joby and ASI are already working together to use that 4D/AI flow-management tech so high-volume eVTOL operations can fit into existing busy airspace instead of needing a separate system. If it rolls out on the ATC side (not just airlines), it could cut congestion and delays in mixed traffic and make it easier to scale air-taxi routes under eIPP and beyond. That’s the infrastructure piece Joby has said was still missing for higher-tempo and eventually more autonomous ops.

Now this sounds promising. Aircraft sequencing to a major hub should occur across it's entire route of flight. For example, a plane departs DCA to ORD, but doesn't get sequenced by ATC until it's within 20-25nm of the airport. The software should be able to determine the sequence as the plane starts down from top of descent. Fuel savings, less environmental impact, easier for ATC.
