There have been kids lured off of Roblox to meet someone they met on the platform. Best take on this issue. Roblox is named as a defendant alongside Discord in loads of these child safety lawsuits. Roblox continues to direct users to Discord where kidnappings, rapes, grooming and convictions connected to the Roblox community have been extensively documented

Stopping production on this unfinished Roblox cinematic was honestly one of the hardest moments of my career. A while ago, I promised the community I’d eventually share what we had been building internally at Roblox. Here it is. This project was a labor of love between an incredibly talented group of Roblox devs, animators, artists, and creators. From the beginning, it was important to us that this cinematic was built by the community, for the community, using assets entirely created on Roblox. Every map, character, and object was ported directly from Roblox and re-rigged in Maya, building on a lot of what we learned during the reboot of the Bloxys. We had to invent new workflows, break things constantly, and figure out processes as we went just to make it possible. We intentionally made it harder on ourselves because we wanted to push the limits of what Roblox could look and feel like at a cinematic level. The music and sound design were also original, though still unfinished. Entire sequences only ever existed as storyboards and concept art created by Roblox devs and artists. Ironically, pieces of this project later ended up scattered across ads and trailers after my time at Roblox. At its core, this was meant to be a love letter to the community. Hope you enjoy it <3

I have been working on a Roblox game. I want players to catch a feeling when they enter the raid hall for the first time.. I have been spending a lot of time on the vibes in the raid hall and class design the past few days. No cash grab games here, no pay to win.. just a fun original experience. I want to create Roblox games that don't feel like roblox games. Attention to details, even down to the candle flames and stained glass windows. Disturbing cases like this, in which a 24-year-old Alabama man is accused of coercing a Lafourche Parish teenager he met on Roblox into self-harm, suicide attempts, and sending explicit images, are exactly why I filed a lawsuit against Roblox. At the end of the day, Roblox must act as a responsible member of our community and do more to protect children.

Sharing my experience with RDC trip, since it was my first time: - Convention center and Roblox staff were amazing and professional, very organized and good event 💯A+ - Keynotes were very amazing and motivating, Roblox has great tech upcoming - Q&A was ok but could have been better - Food was eh - Booths and events were very good, great to meet with Roblox directly on the different areas of their platform - Would like to see more attention to UGC and artists, Roblox should care more for them and treat them one step better than they currently are imo - RIA was sooo good! Being there Live was surreal (Waffles won wooooo!!) - So many events and mixers jammed into two days, need one more day added for RDC - It's so good and amazing that Roblox has this space for their community to come together and meet IRL, I have no words for how great this is, and it makes our work so much better. - Overall, devs and creators were positive and hyped at RDC (very much the opposite of the fake social media going around) - I made new friends and had great connections with ppl (I did not say connections) - American Airlines and Marriott Bonvoy were perfect experiences too, will use them again

After waiting over 3 hours for the police to arrive, they let him off with no charges, He attempted to groom the decoy and planned to 'play roblox with her while mum wasn't home'. But he admitted his real intentions after being caught. Imagine if this wasn't a sting operation and it was a real minor involved. Seems like in this country, it takes a real victim before anything is done
