Treatment update: This sweet dog was hit by a fast-moving vehicle, and since that day he hasn’t been able to walk or move on his own. His pain is deep… but we are doing everything we can to help him heal. We have started Infrared Therapy — a physiotherapy method known to: • relieve pain • reduce muscle spasms • support recovery of damaged tissues • help regenerate cells and ease inflammation Along with this therapy, we are giving him calcium-rich food and bone-healing supplements so he can slowly regain his strength. The feedback loop is broken. They can spend all their time on meaningless junk volume, pay zero heed to fatigue, and they'll still look like freaks. Now let's say you're a natty who's blindly following the gospel set down by high volume bodybuilders. Year after year, you make minimal progress. Rather than shrugging your shoulders and assuming you've reached your genetic potential, it might be worth wondering whether it's a smart strategy to copy the programme of people who'd be getting jacked while binging Netflix.

Meanwhile low rep training: - Generates more mechanical tension - Causes less systemic fatigue - Allows better recovery between sessions - Permits progressive overload more reliably But it doesn't make you feel destroyed. So we assume it's insufficient and add 12 more sets of cable work to "finish the muscle."

This may seem like a joke… and it’s definitely somewhat light-hearted But it’s also real. “Dessert” and “Sugar” has been demonized to a crazy extent. but there’s a huge difference between desserts made with high quality ingredients and desserts made with cheap filler junk. Take ice cream for example. Milk, cream, eggs, sugar? All anabolic & good for you. But they get a bad rap because people eat the Ben & Jerry’s slop with 100 ingredients most of which is processed slop. You can make the same conclusion about mostly every dessert. Cookies? Whole different ballgame if they are made with something like heirloom grains such as einkorn or spelt, that aren’t enriched, that aren’t loaded with gums, dyes, artificial sweeteners, etc. Getting this sugar in is actually GOOD for testosterone production, metabolism, & sleep. It’s inherently anti-stress when coming from a quality source. And beyond all that? Having some enjoyable treats makes your diet something that isn’t a 3 week effort, before falling off to binge for 3 days, and repeat. You satisfy your enjoyment for a delightful sweet, and increase adherence long term. So while it’s tongue in cheek, I’m not joking. Eat dessert for maximum gains.
