Miss those days. I mean I can appreciate the advancements in technology but the innocence of those days is lost.

I’d do anything to stay in 1998 for the rest of my life

This is what makes our generation different. Elder Millennials didn’t become full Millennials, and they didn’t become Gen X. They are a unique subclass unlike any other generation, so we call ourselves Xennials. Bec we are the culmination of analog and digital.

Even those of us born in the 60's and 70's are part of this too. And now we all live with a sense of loss and grief.

This sounds more like Gen X. I have sons born in the 90’s who never saw a cassette tape.

A lot of Gen X made good money building the infrastructure for all this tech. We didn't know it would turnout like this tho.

True for everyone born in the 60's and 70's. We lost many great things.

Visit the 80s-90s today .. ride your bike to the park, do pushups and walk barefoot on the grass Nothing has changed, [except] it’s now healthy to eat 6-eggs a day, drink raw milk and eat grass feed beef

The 80’s and 90’s were the best times of our lives, and we had no idea that it would truly be the final and last of “those” days.

I was born in 1954, the World was so much better, we learned respect , manners and that nothing came free of charge. Save for what you really wanted, don't buy stuff you can't afford. Where did all that go ? No Gates and Elites ,corrupt Governments ruling our lives back then

Miss leaving the house and being uncontactable. The last generation to be able to enjoy that feeling though ironically would hate that for my own kids.

We are the lucky generation. We got to experience a simpler world, and we are witnessing the world transition to something completely different. The old must burn down to make room for the new. Change is never easy, but it will be for the better in the long run.

From the 60s and 70s, yes it would be nice to go back, but that’ll never happen. Are simplicity has gone and a lot of the values that came with it.

This applies more to Gen X coming of age in the '80s. They were the last generation that grew up without technology and the first to grow up adapting to it. They ushered computers and the internet into the home and mainstream. Those born in the '80s and '90s were born into it.

I used to remember everyone's phone numbers, any one call say heloo instantly I recognize their voice without them I intoducing, used to walk miles to meet friends, despite having own transport, It was fun. I remember when I started the software development in 1992 I spent hours in front of computer, my friends started to get worry, that I might go insane if I don't come out, so they all used to come home just to get me out of house.

We all miss those times because we were kids and carefree. That’s it.

But it’s why we are so strong! Think of our World War II grandparents. We are going to be the wisest elders ever in the new beautiful world. I am grateful for this role🙏🏻

Yeah, this is me. I remember what that was like. It wasn't all that long ago we were using phones for calls or texts only.

My kids live this world. No phones, no tablets, no scrolling, no YouTube. They watch 90’s shows and cartoons. They build and play outside. No video games. They listen to 80-90-2000’s music. They dress nice and speak well. You can have it for them but you have to build it.
