So you've got XRP sitting on your cold wallet, you want to protect it, you set up an LLC...makes sense. And now everyone's telling you to buy another wallet, send it off the exchange, do all this complicated stuff.. Here's what to actually do. Leave it exactly where it is. Use the crypto as your initial capital contribution to the business. You list it on the capital contributions page of your operating agreement. Wallet address. Which asset. How many tokens. The dollar amount on the day you transfer ownership. Get that notarized. That's your timestamp. That's your proof. Every single LLC can hold crypto this way. Except... if you're using one that already exists. Say you've already got an LLC in Wyoming, but that LLC is also managing your rental property. Now there's liability attached to it. Someone slips on the stairs. They sue.
