I've watched these different videos several times, and I think the guard actually guides the horse one way or another. This one goes by too fast to tell, but I've seen others where he barely taps the horse by the withers as if to signal to be really gentle with particular people. I don't blame the horse, though. People invade its space and he lets them know when he doesn't want them there.

Having been raised with horses I pissed as hell. The guy sitting on the horse has no business being up there if you can’t control the horse. Just some stooge they sit up there doesn’t know how to ride.

This is the same horse that was so bitey with most people but when they wheeled up a disabled woman, he didn’t hurt her, but instead moved closer and nuzzled her. They can sense pure hearts 💕
